We avoid using terms like “human capital” or even “human resources” when we’re talking about people. After all, if a “resource” has a name, he or she is an individual with hopes, dreams, passions and priorities — not just a commoditized asset or resource to be managed.
We recognize that we work with real people living real lives, not abstract units of labor, and we endeavor to treat everyone with courtesy and respect. From the candidate eagerly pursuing a new job to the operations manager under pressure to fill a position quickly, everyone involved is important.
Simply put, we believe in treating people the way we’d like to be treated. It’s a very, very old principle.
